Dr. Garima Panse
Doctor-written health guides for India

Medicine, explained clearly.

I'm Dr. Garima Panse. I write plain-language, evidence-based guides on the health questions Indian families actually search for: skin that looks healthy, hearts that stay young, headaches that need attention, and scan reports that finally make sense.

Every guide is checked against guidelines from

Guides written to be used, not just read

Health information in India is crowded with product pages and promises. Three rules keep this blog useful and honest.

Written by a doctor

Every guide is written and reviewed by me, with my name on it. No anonymous "team" bylines.

Sources you can open

Guidelines from ICMR, WHO, NICE, the AAD and specialty bodies are linked at the end of every guide.

Reviewed on a date

Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last checked. Medicine changes; the page says when it did.

Five areas, one standard

Topics

See the whole picture. One area at a time.

I have not yet settled on a single specialty, so the blog covers all five areas I care about with the same discipline: say what is known, say how well it is known, and say when to see someone in person.

  • Skin Health

What actually makes Indian skin healthy and radiant?

  • Heart Health

Why do young Indians get heart attacks, and how do you prevent one?

  • Brain and Nerves

Which headaches and nerve symptoms need a doctor, and which do not?

About

A doctor who would rather explain than impress

Indian clinics have excellent doctors and very little time per patient, so explanations get compressed into a prescription and a sentence. This blog is where the explanation gets the time it needs.

Quick answers before you read on

The questions readers ask most about this blog and about consulting me.

Can I book a consultation with Dr. Garima Panse?

Not through this site yet. The guides are educational and are not a substitute for a consultation. When appointments open, the Contact page will say so.

Is the information here medical advice?

No. Every guide explains a topic in general terms so you can have a better conversation with your own doctor. It cannot account for your history, medicines or test results.

Which specialty does Dr. Panse practise?

Dr. Panse is a medical doctor whose current areas of interest are dermatology and skin health, cardiology, neurosurgery, radiology and general medicine. The blog covers all five so readers get the same clear explanations across them.

How often are new guides published, and how do I get them?

New guides are added regularly and every existing one is reviewed at least every six months. Use the RSS feed or the email link at the bottom of any page to hear about new ones.
