What this site collects
This is a static website. It has no user accounts and no comment system, and reading it does not require you to give any personal information. The blog search runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.
The only personal data collected is what you choose to type into one of the forms, described next.
The forms on this site
Two forms exist: a short one at the end of guides and pages, asking only for your name and email so that new guides can be sent to you, and a longer one on the contact page for corrections, media requests, speaking invites and collaboration.
When you submit either form, what you typed is:
- saved as a row in a private Google Sheet that only Dr. Garima Panse and the site's administrator can open,
- emailed to that same private mailbox so your message can be answered,
- kept until you ask for it to be deleted.
The form also records which page you submitted from and the date and time, so it is clear what you were reading when you wrote in. Your email address is checked for validity by Reoon, an email verification service, purely to catch typos and disposable addresses. Reoon receives the email address only, nothing else you typed.
These forms are not for medical questions. Please do not send symptoms, scan images, reports or any other health information through them. As the contact page and the disclaimer both say, consultations are not offered through this website and individual medical advice cannot be given by email.
New guides are sent only to people who asked for them, either by using the short form or by ticking the box on the contact form. Every such email can be stopped by replying and asking to be removed.
Analytics
The site does not currently run any analytics or tracking script. It sets no cookies, and no advertising trackers are used. Fonts are served from this domain, so reading a page does not contact any third-party font service.
If you email hello@drgarimapanse.com, your address and message are kept only for as long as needed to reply. If you ask to be told about new guides, your address is kept on a plain list until you ask to be removed. It is never shared or sold.
Fonts and hosting
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the site is hosted on Vercel. Each may record standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the files. See their respective privacy policies for details.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@drgarimapanse.com and the request will be honoured promptly.
Children
The site is written for adults. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page is updated. Material changes will be noted on the page itself.
