Medical disclaimer
Everything published on this website by Dr. Garima Panse is general health education. It is written to help readers understand a topic and have a better conversation with their own doctor. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and reading it does not create a doctor–patient relationship.
What the guides cannot do
- They cannot account for your medical history, allergies, current medicines, pregnancy or test results.
- They cannot replace a physical examination, which is often what makes the difference between a harmless symptom and a serious one.
- They cannot tell you a dose that is right for you. Where doses are mentioned, they are the ranges used in published guidelines, given for context only.
Emergencies
If you have chest pain, sudden weakness or numbness, the worst headache of your life, difficulty breathing, a seizure, or any symptom that feels like an emergency, do not search for it. Call 108 or 112, or go to the nearest emergency department.
Accuracy and review
Each guide shows a publication date and a last reviewed date, and lists the sources it relies on. Medicine changes; a guide that was accurate on its review date may be superseded later. Corrections are welcome through the contact page.
